Rec Fast-Pitch Softball - National League

Instructional League that encourages growth in a player's specific position(s), under rules that are less liberal while facing improving pitchers. Players ages 11 and 12, as of May 1st for this year's season, will play in the National League.

The Season:

• • Registration is open January 15th thru February 15th.
  • The season runs May through June (practice begins mid-April)
  • RAH plays in the Community Softball League (CSL) with teams from Cloverleaf, Copley, Highland, Revere, & West Akron.
  • Travel distance is typically within a 10-40 mile radius from Highland area.
  • Cost is $180 per player.
  • Practices and games are usually scheduled Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday afternoons.  You can expect 2-3 practices or games per week..
  • Practice is based on field and coach availability and will be scheduled on a team by team basis.
  • Uniforms: RAH will provide each player with a team shirt and socks.
  • Team equipment supplied by RAH: batting helmets and catchers' gear to be shared with team.
  • Required Player equipment: glove, bat, athletic shoes, shorts or softball pants, softball face mask and water bottle.
  • Optional Player equipment: personal helmet and softball cleats.
